The story takes place in ‘The Nest’, a bustling capital city that is expansive, gilded, and built on steam-power, but centers in on the workshop of Juni, a young tinkerer who spends his time crafting intricate and near-lifelike mechanical creatures that serve various practical functions for the people of the city.

When patrons begin to report that their automatons are acting in strange and – in some cases – destructive ways, it’s up to Juni and his friends to figure out who or what has been tampering with his inventions.
